Assumptions

We are at their mercy and learn to deal withthem over and over again. Whether we take them to heart, deny them, ignore them or fight against them, prejudices leave their mark. They can make us blossom or tear us apart, they can help us grow or weaken us. They make us question ourselves, make us feel things and ultimately, they make us become who we are. Assumptions, prejudices and opinions have great power and it is crucial that we learn to deal with them carefully.

This work is intended to show how deeply unreflected remarks, reckless comments or even seemingly harmless words become anchored in our subconscious and what consequences - both positive and negative -they can have on our personality in the long term.
