15.08.2021 - Before the rain

I’ve been having a hard time managing my thoughts lately. Trying not to overthink too much. What has been helping the most are those walks that I go on, as well as taking the time to put my thoughts into writing.

Focusing on a task at hand seems impossible to me these days but walking gets me out of my head and into the real world.

Today it has been quite windy, which made the sun tolerable. I have been walking at a fast pace and I was really determined to get moving even though I had no idea where I was going. My biggest worry was that the path I was walking on might turn out to be a dead-end and I wouldn’t know where to continue.

I did manage to walk 10 km this time and I would have continued had I not been expected home for dinner. I might walk this route again because I saw this ruin of a castle on the top of a hill and I want to get closer to it.

P.S.: Don’t walk 10km in Converse if you don’t want to end up with bleeding feet.

Oh and P.P.S.: It did rain tonigt.

Peace.
